# Whiteboard Note vs Whiteboard Recorder

The clearest difference is rating: Whiteboard Recorder at 3.3 against Whiteboard Note's 2.6. Whiteboard Note's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (34% vs 0%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Whiteboard Recorder sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whiteboard Note asks for nothing beyond the download.

Whiteboard Recorder holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Whiteboard Note has 28 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Whiteboard Note's written reviews are positive against 0% of Whiteboard Recorder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
