# ParkFerndale vs Soaring Eagle Resort

The clearest difference is rating: ParkFerndale at 4.4 against Soaring Eagle Resort's 3.3. ParkFerndale also leads on ratings volume (410 vs 10). Soaring Eagle Resort's advantage is update cadence (every 4 months vs every 17 months) and review sentiment (33% vs 23%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ParkFerndale holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ParkFerndale has 410 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of ParkFerndale's written reviews are positive against 33% of Soaring Eagle Resort's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ParkFerndale ships an update every 17 months, Soaring Eagle Resort every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
