# CC vs NASC

The clearest difference is ads: CC at none against NASC's shown. CC also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). NASC's advantage is update cadence (every 5 months vs every 42 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CC ships an update every 42 months, NASC every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
