# My Scanner vs TimetablePlus

The clearest difference is review sentiment: My Scanner at 65% against TimetablePlus's 0%. My Scanner also leads on ratings volume (20K vs 2) and chart position (#40 vs unranked). TimetablePlus's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 17) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Scanner sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. TimetablePlus asks for nothing beyond the download.

TimetablePlus holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Scanner has 20K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of My Scanner's written reviews are positive against 0% of TimetablePlus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

My Scanner ships an update every 3 weeks, TimetablePlus every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
