# Scoreboard FR vs starmatch

The clearest difference is rating: Scoreboard FR at 4.8 against starmatch's 4.3. Scoreboard FR also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 13) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days). starmatch's advantage is ratings volume (3.5K vs 267). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. starmatch sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Scoreboard FR asks for nothing beyond the download.

Scoreboard FR holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: starmatch has 3.5K ratings behind it against 267, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of Scoreboard FR's written reviews are positive against 33% of starmatch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scoreboard FR ships an update every 2 days, starmatch every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
