# Sing by Stingray vs Dance!

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Sing by Stingray at 20K against Dance!'s 41. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sing by Stingray sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Dance! sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dance! holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sing by Stingray has 20K ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Sing by Stingray's written reviews are positive against 60% of Dance!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sing by Stingray ships an update every 2 months, Dance! every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
