# NYSCSC vs Appspace

The clearest difference is rating: Appspace at 4.3 against NYSCSC's 1.0. Appspace also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (67 vs 1). NYSCSC's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Appspace holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Appspace has 67 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

NYSCSC ships an update every 7 months, Appspace weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
