# SleepOn vs Amovan Ring

The clearest difference is update cadence: SleepOn at every 9 days against Amovan Ring's every 2 months. SleepOn also leads on rating (3.0 vs 2.7) and ratings volume (181 vs 9). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SleepOn holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SleepOn has 181 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of SleepOn's written reviews are positive against 29% of Amovan Ring's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SleepOn ships an update every 9 days, Amovan Ring every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
