# Spin Alarm Clock vs Wizard

The clearest difference is ads: Wizard at none against Spin Alarm Clock's shown. Wizard also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks). Spin Alarm Clock's advantage is ratings volume (715 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spin Alarm Clock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Wizard sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $12.49 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wizard holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spin Alarm Clock has 715 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Spin Alarm Clock ships an update every 5 weeks, Wizard every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
