# Xtime Mobile vs UpdatePromise App

The clearest difference is rating: UpdatePromise App at 3.2 against Xtime Mobile's 1.7. UpdatePromise App also leads on monetization model (free vs subscription). Xtime Mobile's advantage is ratings volume (378 vs 11) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

UpdatePromise App holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Xtime Mobile has 378 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 5% of Xtime Mobile's written reviews are positive against 0% of UpdatePromise App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Xtime Mobile ships an update monthly, UpdatePromise App every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
