# 3minders vs Widgets, Themes & Wallpapers

3minders and Widgets, Themes & Wallpapers both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of 3minders's written reviews are positive against 46% of Widgets, Themes & Wallpapers's. 3minders also leads on ads (none vs shown). Widgets, Themes & Wallpapers's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (4.1K vs 8). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 3minders sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Widgets, Themes & Wallpapers sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Widgets, Themes & Wallpapers holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Widgets, Themes & Wallpapers has 4.1K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of 3minders's written reviews are positive against 46% of Widgets, Themes & Wallpapers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

3minders ships an update every 6 weeks, Widgets, Themes & Wallpapers every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
