# Dashr vs Hudl Focus

The clearest difference is rating: Hudl Focus at 3.9 against Dashr's 3.4. Dashr's advantage is review sentiment (65% vs 33%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hudl Focus holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 43 and 42 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Dashr's written reviews are positive against 33% of Hudl Focus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
