# SmartPass Mobile vs Genesis Global School

The clearest difference is rating: Genesis Global School at 3.3 against SmartPass Mobile's 2.9. Genesis Global School also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). SmartPass Mobile's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 9) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Genesis Global School holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SmartPass Mobile has 1.5K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of SmartPass Mobile's written reviews are positive against 17% of Genesis Global School's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SmartPass Mobile ships an update fortnightly, Genesis Global School every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
