# SmartPass Mobile vs WHS Sched

The clearest difference is rating: WHS Sched at 5.0 against SmartPass Mobile's 2.9. WHS Sched also leads on update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). SmartPass Mobile's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 8) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WHS Sched holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SmartPass Mobile has 1.5K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SmartPass Mobile ships an update fortnightly, WHS Sched weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
