# X vs Go Fly for DJI Drones

The clearest difference is rating: Go Fly for DJI Drones at 3.8 against X's 2.9. Go Fly for DJI Drones also leads on ratings volume (1K vs 37) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). X's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 13) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Go Fly for DJI Drones sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. X asks for nothing beyond the download.

Go Fly for DJI Drones holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Go Fly for DJI Drones has 1K ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of X's written reviews are positive against 33% of Go Fly for DJI Drones's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

X ships an update every 3 months, Go Fly for DJI Drones every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
