# ARPlanets 2 vs Solar System Scope VR

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ARPlanets 2 at 57% against Solar System Scope VR's 14%. ARPlanets 2 also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 39 months). Solar System Scope VR's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ARPlanets 2 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Solar System Scope VR sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Solar System Scope VR holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 15 and 28 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of ARPlanets 2's written reviews are positive against 14% of Solar System Scope VR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ARPlanets 2 ships an update every 6 weeks, Solar System Scope VR every 39 months. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
