# Flyer Maker & Poster Maker vs Nova Story Maker

The clearest difference is ads: Flyer Maker & Poster Maker at none against Nova Story Maker's shown. Flyer Maker & Poster Maker also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (196 vs 27). Nova Story Maker's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 53%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flyer Maker & Poster Maker sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.95 per 7 days and Nova Story Maker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flyer Maker & Poster Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flyer Maker & Poster Maker has 196 ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of Flyer Maker & Poster Maker's written reviews are positive against 83% of Nova Story Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flyer Maker & Poster Maker ships an update every 6 days, Nova Story Maker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
