# Facey vs Face Expression Changer

The clearest difference is rating: Facey at 4.5 against Face Expression Changer's 3.7. Facey also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (24K vs 7). Face Expression Changer's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Facey sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Face Expression Changer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Facey holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Facey has 24K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Facey ships an update every 2 months, Face Expression Changer every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
