# Profoto Control vs Eikonice

The clearest difference is update cadence: Eikonice at every 2 weeks against Profoto Control's every 2 months. Eikonice also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Profoto Control ships an update every 2 months, Eikonice every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
