# Scoreboard vs RaceSync

The clearest difference is review sentiment: RaceSync at 100% against Scoreboard's 20%. RaceSync also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). Scoreboard's advantage is ratings volume (26K vs 53) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scoreboard sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. RaceSync asks for nothing beyond the download.

RaceSync holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scoreboard has 26K ratings behind it against 53, so its average is the more settled of the two.
