# Scoreboard vs Golf Gooder

The clearest difference is rating: Golf Gooder at 5.0 against Scoreboard's 4.4. Scoreboard's advantage is ratings volume (26K vs 3) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scoreboard sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Golf Gooder sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Golf Gooder holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scoreboard has 26K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Scoreboard ships an update monthly, Golf Gooder every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
