# Simple Diary vs Pudding Note

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Simple Diary at 908 against Pudding Note's 6. Pudding Note's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simple Diary sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Pudding Note sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Simple Diary against 4.7 for Pudding Note.
