# WaterDo vs Habit Developer

The clearest difference is rating: Habit Developer at 5.0 against WaterDo's 4.5. WaterDo's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WaterDo sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Habit Developer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Habit Developer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WaterDo has 1.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WaterDo ships an update fortnightly, Habit Developer every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
