# mBDL vs Y24

The clearest difference is rating: mBDL at 4.0 against Y24's 1.0. mBDL also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Y24's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

mBDL holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of mBDL's written reviews are positive against 24% of Y24's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

mBDL ships an update every 3 months, Y24 every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
