# SPACE vs 犬岛

The clearest difference is rating: 犬岛 at 4.5 against SPACE's 3.9. 犬岛 also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). SPACE's advantage is review sentiment (51% vs 11%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SPACE sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 3 months and 犬岛 sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

犬岛 holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 45 and 30 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of SPACE's written reviews are positive against 11% of 犬岛's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SPACE ships an update every 3 weeks, 犬岛 every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
