# ClearCaptions Mobile vs Qlink APP

The clearest difference is rating: Qlink APP at 5.0 against ClearCaptions Mobile's 4.4. Qlink APP also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). ClearCaptions Mobile's advantage is ratings volume (2.1K vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 6 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Qlink APP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ClearCaptions Mobile has 2.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ClearCaptions Mobile ships an update every 3 months, Qlink APP every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
