# UpNote vs Syncly

The clearest difference is rating: UpNote at 4.7 against Syncly's 4.0. UpNote also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (86% vs 57%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UpNote sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Syncly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

UpNote holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UpNote has 1.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 86% of UpNote's written reviews are positive against 57% of Syncly's.

UpNote ships an update weekly, Syncly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
