# UpNote vs Fidget Note

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Fidget Note at none against UpNote's 8. Fidget Note also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). UpNote's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UpNote sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Fidget Note asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fidget Note holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UpNote has 1.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 86% of UpNote's written reviews are positive against 100% of Fidget Note's.

UpNote ships an update weekly, Fidget Note every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
