# Straightaway Powered by Mapbox vs Route Optimize

The clearest difference is rating: Straightaway Powered by Mapbox at 4.2 against Route Optimize's 3.1. Straightaway Powered by Mapbox also leads on ratings volume (513 vs 16) and chart position (#195 vs unranked). Route Optimize's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and update cadence (every 11 days vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Straightaway Powered by Mapbox sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Route Optimize asks for nothing beyond the download.

Straightaway Powered by Mapbox holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Straightaway Powered by Mapbox has 513 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of Straightaway Powered by Mapbox's written reviews are positive against 42% of Route Optimize's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
