# Productify vs Essential Launcher

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Productify at 494 against Essential Launcher's 36. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Productify sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Essential Launcher sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Productify against 4.6 for Essential Launcher. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Productify has 494 ratings behind it against 36, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 82% of Productify's written reviews are positive against 88% of Essential Launcher's.

Productify ships an update weekly, Essential Launcher every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
