# Gordon Now vs Renfro

The clearest difference is rating: Renfro at 5.0 against Gordon Now's 2.6. Gordon Now's advantage is ratings volume (40 vs 1) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Renfro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gordon Now has 40 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Gordon Now ships an update every 4 weeks, Renfro every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
