# Erwaa | إرواء vs متيريال

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Erwaa | إرواء at 11K against متيريال's 280. Erwaa | إرواء also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Erwaa | إرواء holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Erwaa | إرواء has 11K ratings behind it against 280, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Erwaa | إرواء's written reviews are positive against 47% of متيريال's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Erwaa | إرواء ships an update every 9 days, متيريال every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
