# Modern Essentials Plus vs Healy

The clearest difference is price: Healy at Free against Modern Essentials Plus's $3.99. Healy also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 11) and ratings volume (282 vs 13). Modern Essentials Plus's advantage is rating (3.9 vs 2.7) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 12 months). On review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Modern Essentials Plus holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Healy has 282 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of Modern Essentials Plus's written reviews are positive against 18% of Healy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
