# e vs My School Grades

The clearest difference is review sentiment: e at 100% against My School Grades's 50%. e also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). My School Grades's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.7) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 31 months). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My School Grades sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. e asks for nothing beyond the download.

My School Grades holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My School Grades has 30 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of e's written reviews are positive against 50% of My School Grades's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

e ships an update every 31 months, My School Grades every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
