# ICIS vs Stay Connect

The clearest difference is rating: ICIS at 4.0 against Stay Connect's 1.0. ICIS also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.1). Stay Connect's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ICIS holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ICIS has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ICIS ships an update every 2 months, Stay Connect fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
