# Loco vs Compas NOW

The clearest difference is rating: Loco at 4.3 against Compas NOW's 2.0. Loco also leads on ratings volume (349 vs 1). Compas NOW's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 16) and review sentiment (75% vs 44%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Loco sells 16 one-off in-app purchases. Compas NOW asks for nothing beyond the download.

Loco holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Loco has 349 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Loco's written reviews are positive against 75% of Compas NOW's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Loco ships an update fortnightly, Compas NOW every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
