# honeygrow vs BarCrawlr

The clearest difference is rating: honeygrow at 4.8 against BarCrawlr's 3.4. honeygrow also leads on ratings volume (18K vs 10). BarCrawlr's advantage is review sentiment (57% vs 47%) and iOS requirement (12.2 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

honeygrow holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: honeygrow has 18K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of honeygrow's written reviews are positive against 57% of BarCrawlr's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
