# TimePlanner vs NarTick

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TimePlanner at 85% against NarTick's 40%. TimePlanner also leads on ratings volume (357 vs 12). NarTick's advantage is monetization model (free vs subscription) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TimePlanner sells 20 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and NarTick sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NarTick holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TimePlanner has 357 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of TimePlanner's written reviews are positive against 40% of NarTick's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
