# TimePlanner vs fokus

The clearest difference is price: TimePlanner at Free against fokus's $12.99. TimePlanner also leads on ratings volume (355 vs 5) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). fokus's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 85%). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

TimePlanner is free to download; fokus costs $12.99 up front. TimePlanner sells 20 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and fokus sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TimePlanner holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TimePlanner has 355 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of TimePlanner's written reviews are positive against 100% of fokus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. Both last shipped on October 14, 2026.
