# Aranet Home vs EcoNet

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Aranet Home at 84% against EcoNet's 15%. Aranet Home also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and device support (3 vs 1). EcoNet's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 630) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Aranet Home holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EcoNet has 14K ratings behind it against 630, so its average is the more settled of the two.
