# D vs FitID

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FitID at 100% against D's 47%. FitID also leads on rating (5.0 vs 2.8) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 weeks). D's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FitID sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per month. D asks for nothing beyond the download.

FitID holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: D has 67 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 47% of D's written reviews are positive against 100% of FitID's.

D ships an update every 6 weeks, FitID every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
