# NK Logbook vs Row Nation

The clearest difference is rating: NK Logbook at 3.8 against Row Nation's 1.5. NK Logbook also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (12 vs 2). Row Nation's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months) and review sentiment (75% vs 63%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NK Logbook sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Row Nation sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NK Logbook holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NK Logbook has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of NK Logbook's written reviews are positive against 75% of Row Nation's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NK Logbook ships an update every 4 months, Row Nation every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
