# BionicGym vs Carnimeat

The clearest difference is rating: Carnimeat at 4.4 against BionicGym's 2.5. Carnimeat also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (2.6K vs 44). BionicGym's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 12). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Carnimeat sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $33.99 per month. BionicGym asks for nothing beyond the download.

Carnimeat holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Carnimeat has 2.6K ratings behind it against 44, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of BionicGym's written reviews are positive against 24% of Carnimeat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BionicGym ships an update every 5 months, Carnimeat every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
