# BAS vs Keenetic

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Keenetic at 157 against BAS's 3. Keenetic also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (47% vs 36%). BAS's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 4.1) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BAS holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Keenetic has 157 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of BAS's written reviews are positive against 47% of Keenetic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BAS ships an update every 3 months, Keenetic monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
