# Wolf vs Wolf Simulator

The clearest difference is ads: Wolf at none against Wolf Simulator's shown. Wolf also leads on ratings volume (9.7K vs 841) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wolf sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Wolf Simulator sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Wolf against 4.5 for Wolf Simulator. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wolf has 9.7K ratings behind it against 841, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 76% of Wolf's written reviews are positive against 68% of Wolf Simulator's.

Wolf ships an update every 6 weeks, Wolf Simulator every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
