# This Week vs Super

The clearest difference is update cadence: Super at every 2 days against This Week's every 11 months. Super also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (100% vs 81%). This Week's advantage is ratings volume (71 vs 10) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for This Week against 5.0 for Super. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: This Week has 71 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 81% of This Week's written reviews are positive against 100% of Super's.

This Week ships an update every 11 months, Super every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
