# Wonlex vs Xplora

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Wonlex at 51% against Xplora's 21%. Wonlex also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Xplora's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (978 vs 11). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Xplora holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Xplora has 978 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Wonlex's written reviews are positive against 21% of Xplora's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wonlex ships an update every 2 months, Xplora fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
