# everyday vs ChoreStar

The clearest difference is ratings volume: everyday at 4.5K against ChoreStar's 5. ChoreStar's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. everyday sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.49 per month and ChoreStar sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ChoreStar holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: everyday has 4.5K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

everyday ships an update every 3 weeks, ChoreStar every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
