# GroupSpot vs Gold Medal Squared

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Gold Medal Squared at none against GroupSpot's 8. GroupSpot's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (4.5K vs 46). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GroupSpot sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per month. Gold Medal Squared asks for nothing beyond the download.
