# GtrLib Chords vs Accordly

The clearest difference is ads: Accordly at none against GtrLib Chords's shown. Accordly also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). GtrLib Chords's advantage is review sentiment (77% vs 50%) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Accordly holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GtrLib Chords has 1.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of GtrLib Chords's written reviews are positive against 50% of Accordly's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GtrLib Chords ships an update fortnightly, Accordly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
